PEI Business Directory was established in March of 2006 as an Association of Business Owners dedicated to the Preservation and Promotion of the Island Small and Medium Sized Business Community. After watching National Organizations and International Companies hurting the Small Business sector, Members were getting frustrated in seeing vast revenues heading out of the province by large Multi-Nationals Groups and Organizations Promoting Big Business. Some of these Huge Multi Nationals and Organizations drain the Island economy offering less than stellar pay levels and services - Yet give the illusion of promoting the Small and Medium Sized Business community and Communities in General.
PEI Business Directory was founded to Promote, Advocate and Educate the benefits of supporting local enterprise. Supporting local keeps the economy strong EVERY Day and this portal is designed to FIND Independent Business's and Supporters of the Small and Medium Sized Business Community.
All Business listed are Supporters of the Small and Medium Sized Business Community and have been peer nominated - interviewed. Its one thing to say you are in a directory - its another to say you are in the directory because someone thinks you, as a business owner, are the best at what you do and have set an example in the community. We are proud of EVERY business in this Directory and proud of our Members. These people do a great deal for the Community, Churches, Charities, and Associations yet get little or no recognition for their efforts. The next time you want a product or service we encourage you to use the Business's listed at PEI Business Directory.Com.
If you are concerned about issues facing Small and Medium Sized Business and want to be part of a great local organization dedicated to the SMB Sector we encourage you to become a member and TOGETHER we can make a difference.
